My question for these charts, is "Will there be enough competition to actually support having their charts?" I regret pushing for ASRDS because after 18 months on the site, there's 4 people on the charts, with barely any prominent activity (excluding stat dumps), and rarely gets submitted to. I tried to get competitive in the game when James_Bertolli came in with his sweep, but my interest in the game dwindled as it wasn't the hot thing anymore, nor was there enough incentive for me to play for it sitewide-wise. 2 years ago when i had drafted up Winter Olympics Charts (and summer Wii, which have mysteriously been edited away), i had massive intention to compete in that game regularly, possibly even 0p if i was actually good enough. And the appeal of that game may have been scarce, but it was there with some regular members. As of this post, it seems that not many, barring 3-4 perhaps, are interested in competing in this game. We don't even [seem to] have someone coherent in charts and rule design (sorry DarkAura, not a shot at you, but you don't seem entirely familiar with how charts are drafted, not that your enthusiasm isn't refreshing to see :P) for the 2012 Olympics games. Honestly, I'm not even sure I want to go out and buy this game, because the excitement of the London Olympics has passed, and I'm not even sure we'd get much competition to our charts, if they're made.
I won't complain if charts are made though (I may complain how they're made if i ever get my hands on the appropriate games, -if- they're charted improperly), I'm merely stating that it may just be something that is put onto the site, and seldom used. We seem to be lacking a little lately in submissions with games that aren't big console Sonic games though.
